Leave your heavy bags at home! At Scuba Elite, renting dive gear is easy. Rent a full set of scuba equipment from $49 a day, or just the pieces you miss. Pick the dive gear up at our shop on Kaya Antonio Neuman 7 in Kralendijk. We’re open every day from 08:00 to 17:00.

What is in a full set of scuba gear?
Good gear is quiet gear: it fits, it works and it isn’t leaking. We dive Aqualung, and our own team services every piece, early and often. Our staff are trained in servicing Aqualung equipment and put their hearts into every detail, so you can dive comfortably and, even more importantly, safely on Bonaire.

Fill in your paperwork online before you arrive. You’ll receive it by e-mail once your reservation is confirmed.
Come to the shop, try on your gear and grab your tanks.
Load them into your car and drive to any shore dive site on Bonaire you like.
Bring your tanks back the same day so we can fill them for tomorrow. After a night dive, drop them off after your dive; we’ll show you how.
How tank and gear rental works for shore diving on Bonaire?
Enriched Air or Nitrox costs the same as Air here: 32% Enriched Air for more bottom time on Bonaire’s reefs. You analyse your own tank at pick-up with our analyzer, which we calibrate every day.
You’ll need an Enriched Air certification. Not certified yet? Our PADI Enriched Air Diver course gets you there in a few hours.
Can I use Nitrox tanks on Bonaire?
Love the freedom of diving on your own? Rent gear and tanks and go.
Rather have someone who knows the sites, the conditions and the critters? Join one of our guided shore dives in a small group of max 4 divers per instructor. Staying longer? Our Bonaire dive packages combine both.

Questions about renting scuba gear on Bonaire
Can I rent scuba gear on Bonaire?
How much does it cost to rent dive gear on Bonaire?
A full set costs $49 a day. Six days of gear with 12 tanks costs $395, and ten days of gear including a dive computer costs $550. Single tanks are $18, or $12.50 each with a 12-tank card.
Do I need to bring my own gear to Bonaire?
No. You can rent everything here, from mask to dive computer, in sizes XXS to XXL. Many divers bring only their mask and computer and rent the rest.
Can I rent Enriched Air (Nitrox) tanks on Bonaire?
Yes. Nitrox 32% costs the same as Air at Scuba Elite. You need an Enriched Air certification, and you analyse your own tank at pick-up.
How many tanks do I need for a week of shore diving?
Most divers do two or three dives a day, so 12 to 18 tanks for six days. Our 12-tank card is the easy start, and you can add tanks anytime.
When should I book my rental gear?
In high season (October - February) book before you travel so your sizes are ready!
What do I need to rent tanks?
Your certification card and the online paperwork, which you fill in before you arrive. Then it’s just fitting your gear and grabbing your tanks.
Can I use rental gear for diving with another dive shop?
Our rental gear is for your own shore diving and for dives with us. It isn’t available for courses or guided dives with another company.
